K-Von

K-von has quickly catapulted onto the scene, dazzling crowds in
comedy clubs and colleges across the nation.  Recent TV appearances
include SHOWTIME’s “Comics w/out Borders” with Russell Peters, Bill Bellamy’s “Who’s Got Jokes”, the “Style Network”, and “Good Morning America”.  K-von also made his debut as the lead actor in the feature film “The Gingerdead Man 2″.  He plays the role of Kelvin Cheatham in this spoof on horror films where he is a target for murder and hilariously fights for his survival.

In case you are wondering, yes K-von is his real name!  It is spelled phonetically because so many people have mispronounced it over the years that something just had to be done.  With a Persian father and an American mother, K-von’s comedy often reflects the clashes in culture that many of today’s younger generation can identify with.

K-von grew up in Nevada and upon graduating college decided to pursue a career in comedy and entertainment.  Today he is regarded as one of the fastest rising comedians on the scene and is highly sought after for on-screen performances and interviews.  When he’s not touring with national headliners he is hosting his weekly Saturday night show at the world famous ‘Laugh Factory’.

K-von’s standup material touches on everything from being raised in a Las Vegas based multi-cultural family to some of his more absurd observations regarding the perils of internet dating.  A comic who is prepared to perform in any venue and often works with children in the audience, K-von makes an extra effort to keep his comedy clean with a little edge to it.  With that said, K-von can’t wait to make you laugh!
