Mike Bobbitt
The Force is strong with Mike Bobbitt! With the charm and candor of a punk kid who’s ‘just too smart for his own good’, Mike’s been making audiences laugh for years! He draws from his experiences as a self-professed Star Wars geek and as one half of an inter-racial marriage, bringing the audience on a humorous journey through the fumbles and foibles of everyday life. Mike Bobbitt got his start in entertainment in the early 90’s working in both radio and television. He was a hit at the former 106.1 the Zephyr in New Orleans, Louisiana. When the Zephyr folded, Mike returned to Detroit, left his audience of thousands and directed his efforts to comedy and audiences of hundreds! Mike is the founding member of the Desperate Houseguys comedy show and is also a contributing writer to the “Complete Idiot’s Guide to Jokes”. He won the Canadian Mist Comedy Competition and made it to the finals in the first annual Michigan Comedy Survivor as well as the Michigan Comedy Idol contests! Mike has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the nation’s comedians like: Emo Philips, Ted Alexandro, Tony Rock, Jackie Kashian, John Bizarre, Greg Morton and J Chris Newberg. Mike is an international man of comedy and features at many of the premiere comedy clubs and theatres in the United States and Canada!
